First post and an obvious newb here. I'm going to have 18 grand by the end of the month with money saved up + a very large student loan. The supra has been my dream car ever since I can remember. I figure why not have fun now in my life now rather than wait for 5-10 years down the road to do so. I'm more for the looks rather than speed. I think an NA is my best bet. What say you guys?

You answered your own question. But I can tell you that if you buy a NA you will regret it in the long run. There is a white TT auto on eBay as we speak for alittle over $18k or best offer. If you look around you can/will find a good deal on a TT Mkiv.

Good luck on your search!

I've never been attracted to the NA so I'm biased. I think if I had an NA and an S2000 sitting in front of me I'd go for the Honda.

If I was you I'd start shopping for a nice TT now, and save some more as you shop so you'll have enough to cover it when you find it...or at least only have to take a small loan for the difference if you can't wait to save it all.

I say you're a stupid motherfucker if you use student loan money to buy car parts.

stripers and beer. should last you for a while.cant take the cash with you.as you say "have fun now, whilst your young".
I've never understood why people say this. There will never be a point in my life where I wake up and say damn... I'm old now. Time to stop having fun. This is why people have mid life crisis because they sink into obscurity and forget how to live.

Same here. No disrespect to the NA crowd but, no turbo no care.

You can def. find u a good used tt car for around 15k...
That would be very hard to accomplish. I know there are exceptions but, generally speaking, it ain't gonna happen.

Go NA if you really don't care for speed, only looks. I'm also positive you will regret it, but I don't know you and you may be content with the NA. Go for it! Besides, you can go NA-T if you decide later. Don't be too impulsive and buy the first one you see. Look for a deal.
