Good old rattle-can spray paint?
hahaha kinda.....

first it was brake cleaner to get off al the grime and shit....then it was sandpaper toget off surface rust....then it was cleaning them up again.... then i used this pimp ass 1200 degree high temp cermic coat based paint....pimpest paint EVER! :)

heres another item done in the same process....some thing you just cant polish...sooooo i make them look that way ;)

no it doesnt come off on my hands at all.....when i touch it i can see my fingerprint but that rubs right away with a towel just like any smudge mark would on a nicely waxed surface......

i was gonna cure them in the oven but i decided to just put themo n the engine and let them cure themselves....

and ick engnie is coing in about a week bish...so shuddup! ;) :D

bwhahahaha :lol::lol::lol:

nice one trey that shit had me rollin!

as for the paint it can be had anywhere as far as i know. its duplicolor metalcast high temp paint...the aluminum color that you see is 1200 degree temp. they have 1500 and 900 and 500 as well.....im using those for various parts and colors as well.....

just make sure you dont just paint it or IT WILL rub off..you need to clean it and degrease it with brake cleaner and then sandpaper the surface so it has a place to adhere to......

the paint is about 5 bucks a can at auto shops but i found it at wlamart for about 3-4 bucks.......

also dont primer anything because the primer will flake with the higher temps and cause the top layer to flake......id say the things that could be primered would be the things on the top of the engine bay.....such as valve covers or whatnot.

HTH
