1. Clean the weather stripping and make sure the targa is tight. If it still leaks its probably the roof rails. Replace or reseal them to the roof. The seal between the black plastic rail and the roof leaks water which leaks at the front two corners of the roof. I suggested to someone that they try running a bead of somekind of sealant along the inside of the rail. I've never tried it though.

2. Check the throttle cable or the pedal, perhaps they are getting caught on something. Maybe the pedal needs to be adjusted?

3. Its a aging sports car with stiff suspension its going to rattle and squeal some.

I would do a complete fluid swap. Tranny, diff, powersteering, brake, etc etc.
