yes i am double posting but its an amergency since the search feature has been down for more than a damn week. how do i install the walbro 255 fuel pump? ive dug through the forums for hours but without the search feature its pointless. i got the pump out by the conector to teh fuel line is 180 degrees from the stock one. do i have to cut the bracket? or is there something im missing? didnt come with instructions and i cant find instructions

it will have a slight angle when you install it, the walbro won't sit straight as the stock one does so don't worry about that. There's instruction in the Basic Na-t Kit install on here and Clubna-t. Also I think Jaxin or whom ever site it is has instructions as well. It's very easy, pretty much straight foward.

i recommend cutting the bracket. I just used a simple hand saw and took only 5 mins

hmm, in this other post it says not to though? i dont want it weakened or anything

I cut the bracket too. I originally installed it backwards with it at an angle, then decided to just cut into the bracket (the vertical section) and make the pump sit flush.

Works either way I guess.
which way would you recomend?
