There's a here on SF selling an engine and tranny and I wanna get it, I'd just like some extra reassurance that it's going to be good.
So even if anyone knows him or can go check out the engine for me and can just give me a "This is a good guy and very trustworthy" type thing. I believe he said it was rebuilt at R&R Racing, anyone know how good they are?

He's a good guy. i bought a pillar pod and 2 guages from him. he showed me the car and his garage full of mkIII parts. it was a nice car in pretty good condition. to bad he couldnt finish his project would of been a really nice car. he is going to attend U.T. and didnt have time to mess with the car any more. it was a N/A and he wanted to go with the turbo. but he had a problem with the wiring in the switch.well i hope this helped. if i wasnt gonna paint my car i would buy it. its a hell of a deal.
