Yes, it would be a nightmare to plumb and to fit into just about any engine bay, but wouldn't it be unique?

One small turbo for every two cylinders! Think of the potential!

OR... a tri turbo sequential setup! Think of the MASSIVE monster you could get as your third blower! Might need to make a few helpful bumps in the hood, but that would also look sweet.

Didn't Bugatti make something with quad turbochargers?

I know that I don't have the patience or brains to pull this idea off, but I do heartily encourage someone else to.

The EB110 had quad turbochargers. This is because the ideal exhaust for a 12-cylinder is quad individual pipes. Ideal for a 6-cylinder is dual individual.

well there are ferraris with quad turbos...not sure if that is what was posted before or not....

and there is a mkiv with tri-turbos....and i know of at least two other cars running tri turbo setups.....

its possible but IMO not worth anything more then the "awe factor".

Was done on a MKIV... looked cool but didn't produce a ton of power IIRC... was in the 600's? I have pondered this myself... the perfect turbo would be CT-12's (designed to be driven by 1L of displacement per turbo) for a responsive stock(ish) driver... or CT-12b's if you wanted to "upgrade" (designed to be driven by 1.5L of displacement per turbo)

Ton's o' fun... but I know the nightmare space-wise my Twin setup is... that would probably keep me from trying a tri setup.

bugatti had a W-16 or a U-16 that had quad setups. but alas, toyota is NOT bugatti and the supra does not have a 16 cyl engine.

they look big in th epics but at Vegas in person they are smaller then my fist! he's laying down somewhere in the mid 600's! i personally was expecting ALOT more with that setup but 600 is fine with me!

I saw a black tri turbo mk IV a couple years back. I think it was in Texas, and they had a posting for it suprastore. Chevy made a QUAD turbo camaro once too. Last I heard, they couldn't get a driveline to stay on the car.

Didn't Ford have a quad turbo concept at one time. I remember it being on Need for speed or something. I remember when someone (Suprastore I believe) advertised the tri-turbo kit for the mk4. That'd be fun to diagnose a leak
