I need someone who has the repair manuals to look up how to test the Turbo Pressure Sensor. I beleave it will me in the engine manual. I beleave you should be able to use a volt meter in testing it. Just a brief outline would be great.

I don't know if anyone can help, Only thank you if you can.

2 stages.

To check power source: disconnect sensor. turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between VC and E2 on the wiring harness side. Should be 4.5-5.5V. Reconnect.

Check the sensor power output: Disconnect ECU from ECU bracket. Install the check harness(! - SST 09990-01000). Turn ignition on. Disconnect vacuum hose. Connect voltmeter to terminals PIM and E2 (voltage 2.3-3.0 V). Apply 200mmHg vacuum to pressure sensor (voltage 1.8-2.4 V). Restore as before.

This is straight out of the engine manual May 1993. I've never done it so don't ask me specifics. Applying the constant vacuum is the only tricky thing if you dont have a mercury manometer. Good luck getting the check harness!!
Cheers Dave.
