ok I just finished my engine swap and I was having an Idle surge... but I fixed that... now I'm just surging... it's only when I give it more than 15% throttle... we already ruled out my afm and vac lines... now we are just at a dead halt... any suggestions...

unplug the tps and try it again. if the surge goes away its a bad tps. btdt. on a 7mge and 7mgte

when unplugged it should sit ~3k rpm if the idle was adjusted correctly. if it revs to redline the throttle plate isnt closed all the way. either the linkage is sticking,or the throttle rod is too short(they are diff between auto and manual).

well we came to a screeching hault tonight... we had been at it for about 10hrs... so we decided to call it a night... but we did figure out that we do have another upper intake mani... so we are just going to swap those out so we don't have to re-calibrate the tps or the isc...

theres nothing on the isc to calibrate. and why not just swap the tb? much easier then the whole upper manifold.
