Also I would be remiss if I didn't thank Larry at SP, very nice guy, he even heard about my boost controller noise problem and called me long distance to help, what a guy :) Thanks!!!

Sounds great. Has anyone dyno'd an sp57 on an auto with stock fuel system? does an sp57 require a FMIC?

Also, how much is an sp57 kit?

Thanks,

Adam

I have been taking it easy due to this odd noise that sounds like a boost leak fluttering?? No real data other than it is a bit fast for my tires ;) At anything over 1 bar or so I get that noise, and if I stay on it, it goes away?? I am trying to make sure it is not missing before I push it very hard. I gapped the plugs down to .028 and nothing changed. The car doesn't stumble at all and the power is not effected by the noise?? I am thinking my wastegate gasket may be cooked. As soon as I get this nailed down I will do a full write up :)

any ideas are appreciated :)

Pete, give us some RPM vs boost #s. If you are going 70 and give it some throttle, what rpm do you see 15 psi?? Info like that would be helpful.

Thanks

I haven't tried it without the car downshifting but at 70 it drops down a gear and it is instant boost :) Autos are fun ;)

sorry I missed that earlier post, yes, I have a FMIC and I think it is a very good idea with a small single. I have a VPC+gcc all zeroed out so far :) I also got a Walbro fuel pump and dampner bypass for a little fuel safety. It is a blast!
