Went to the dyno last night. Can't say I'm pleased with the results but considering all the problems, I can't complain. I last dyno'd at 563 rwhp at 23 psi. This time around with the SP intake manifold and HKS 272 cams I dyno'd 604 rwhp. The car however is missing slightly and the A/F fuel on that run was around 10.8-11.0 so it could still make a little more. Not too bad though, 40 rwhp gain with intake and cams. We then tried to shoot for 30 psi. For some reason the max we could hit was 27-28 and it would fall to 26 at redline. At that boost it made 647.3 rwhp and 601.0 torque. A/F was around 11.8 at redline. It did miss once on that run. We did one run on NOS but it's hardly worth mentioning, 688 rwhp and 625 torque. That was a 100 shot direct port. The bottle was cold since I don't have a bottle heater and pressure was only 825-850, so that would explain the lackluster result, was just running way rich, too much fuel and too little NOS pressure in the lines. By the end of the night it seems like one of my plugs took a crap, since I now have a constant miss at high RPM's. As for the boost I think it's just the crappy Profec-B that can't hold boost and can't boost very high. As for the miss, beside the fact that I think I lost a plug, it seems like my coils are on the way out as well, over 90,000 miles on stock coils making this kind of power can't be good. I'll probably re-dyno in a wekk or two with new plugs, coils, bottle warmer, and maybe new boost controller or I'm just going to tighten the screw on the wastegate and try to get more boost out of this thing. Hope this all makes sense to you all.
