I found the turbo in the for sale section for a really good price,
would that fit on the 7m or has anyone done it before?

Yes, it'll fit, but you'll need to build (or buy) a manifold for it.

It's big, but not huge. Good if you're after lots of power.

thanks guys, i dont think my motor at 112,000 could handle it. i will probably go with the sp61gt. Can a bone stock car handle the sp61gt at low boost without problems ( untill the fuel system is upgraded)?

Detonation will kill any motor. One main difference between a stock and built engine is that the built engine is more tolerant to low levels of detonation. Keep the car well tuned and dont go crazy on the boost and it should last you a while. But I'd spend the money on building your motor to handle the extra power before giving it the extra power.

Yup, SP74GTQ here. Don't even bother looking at one unless you have a fully built head and at least 7800 rpm redline IMO ;).
