I did a Na/T swap auto/manual swap and now my speedometer isnt working.. now .. the short cable that comes out of my tranny which is the 5 speed doesnt stay inside the long speedometer cable that goes up into the gauge cluster. now my question is ..is the long speedometer cable peice which was on the car orignally different from taht of a car that is 5 speed? i was told that it isnt... they told me that the only peice that changes is the part that comes out of the tranny....seems right but i like to get more than 1 opinion before i spend 100$ on that cable. thx in advance

I was told that the upper cable on autos is actually a two-piece or something...
bottom line- get the manual speedo cable turbo/non-turbo doesn't matter.

PS- ....I have one.... : )

You need a new cable. Most likely, the upper section was damaged during the swap. Happened to me anyway.
