how exactly is this done? and how do you know if your needle is dead? i pulled my cluster a while back and my brother played with the needles and without noticing i put it back in and my speedometer was below the 0 mark and was about 15 mph off.......then recently i broke the speedometer plug itself so now obviously theres NO speedometer

neways im getting a new speedometer cable but i need to know how to recalibrate the speedometer correctly and/or a place to bring it to get it done that wont cost me that much.... thanks guys!

must play around with it
that what happen to me when i took it off to put some glow gauges in.
you have be prepare to take it off many i mean many times to get it right again.
the needle should be laying at zero, now turn the needle a from left to right.... once it reach 160, keep turning till you feel some resistance, and keep turning but slowly... until prob. an inch from 160mph and release. it should go back to zero, then plug everything back and put few screw in to hold the cluster down and drive it to see if it is correct. if not keep trying.
that is all i could say.
