Hey guys i got a supra and it needs to go for inspection...now i noticed my SRS light does not go on and off when i start the car?? Is that normal?? I thought it was suppose to blink a couple times before going off??? The car has never been in an accident from what i know so the airbag should be there. Please let me know how to check this thanks!!! :dunno:

Just unscrew that upper piece of the dash (I think 5 screws) and pull it out towards you, disconnect the connectors on each side, take off the cluster that has the SRS light. Try putting one of the bulbs that does work into the SRS light socket and see if it works. I think the bulbs just twist off. If it works then just get a new bulb. If it doesn't you have other problems. btw you might want to disconnect your battery before you start.
