so i bought a hks ssqv for my 7m-gte and am curious is it better to get the kit for the supra of would it be better to mount it directly to the ic pipe via the weld on flange?

and if i were to go the piping route what size of piping should i use? and which flange size? the 50mm or 65mm

I assume you have aftermarket IC pipes, because the stock pipe is plastic and it is going to be difficult (read not possible) to weld a flange to plastic.

Just get the kit.

the kit is a 2 inch pipe, thus limiting your power....

60mm would work... and it's the cheapest Aluminum..

but don't know off hand what the diameter is of the BOV
The diameter is for the diameter of the pipe.. not of the BOV  In other words if you are going with a 2.5 inch pipe (what most people run) go with the 60 mm.

BTW Brent - is it really necessary to have two posts... please edit your posts instead of making new ones.
