So I hit a pothole the size of a small swimming pool, took a nice chunk out of my tire and ripped through a 3/4" long piece of the lip. The damage is cosmetic...but its worse than curb rash. Where how and how much $ am i looking at to get this wheel refinished. I'm on the east coast.

This place http://www.wheelcollision.com/ near Allentown off Rt 22 reworked a damaged wheel for me a few years ago and I was very satisfied with their work ...but my wheel was not damaged as bad as yours sounds. I would send them a pic and description and see what they say.

FYI

I called those guys and they are willing to fix the wheel...to do anodized lips they send it out and it takes 3-5 weeks before it returns and costs approx. $250.

They were helpful and knowledgable on the phone.
