The shorter the bar ends, the stiffer it gets. The holes closer to the bar, are more "aggressive".

Hope you have your mounting tabs reinforced, or I can make a safe bet they'll be broken off soon.

Mounting tabs, which ones? If you are talking about the mounting tabs on the sway bars, hah they won't break they are beefy as hell. But the endlinks are the pre 89 so they are metal instead of plastic. What exactly are you talking about? Thanks.

Not on the sway bar end, but where the endlinks mount to the suspension rod.

If you're lucky, it will bend and you'll notice instability in the rear. If you unlucky, it will break and you'll test your reaction time and driving ability.

One of mine broke while using ST's on the inner/more aggressive holes.

I had my mounts reinforced on my BMW (they rip real easy on them) for 10 dollars a side. and why the heck would toyota use plastic for sway bar mounts? on my car, in the rear, one side is plastic, and the other is metal... oh the joys of used cars...

They used plastic because the tabs on the suspention arms where known to break off during agressive driving and metal endlinks, The plastic ones are weak enough that they would break before damaging the suspention arm

I have already reinforced the tabs on my arms.. just ordered a set of st swaybars and a set of 87 endlinks from jay marks

I have mine set to the "softer" setting, as I had read about all the broken tabs from other guys- I was wondering...Is there a notable difference in stiffness if you use the inner mounting holes? I'm just wondering if It's worth it to reinforce the rear mount tabs so that I can use that inner setting...

Hey I have another question, I only need to replace rear tabs right? Just install front bar, and since I want to run the bar more aggresive then i will just beef up rear that is it.

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone breaking the front. I have head of a few rare cases of people pulling the mount out of the body -- but if you're on street tires and lowered suspension you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Awesome, I have Tokico Illumina II's with Eibachs so I shouldn't have a problem.
