Hey guys
At the end of last summer, just before putting my Supra away for the winter, I noticed the car would stall out on cold starts if I didnt give it throttle.

Once I gave it throttle, it could come down to idle and hold fine. When warm, there would be no issues.

This summer, the car is doing the same thing, obviously, but even with throttle now the car will stall when it comes back down (if I dont save it) warm or cold.

I also noticed today that after installin an hks ssqv 3 that the car seems to hesitate on acceleration a bit.

Some background info/

'94 JDM TT auto, 80,000kms. No previous issues in two years of ownership.

My thoughts are IACV, TPS or throttle body (car was sent to body for shine ridox front end and shine do luck sides - engine ws covered in dust when I got it back and then the issue started), maybe even bad fuel (left about 1/8th in tank this winter, un-treated...I know not a good idea).

That hesitation is most likely due to fouled spark plugs. Change the spark plugs, put some fresh high octane gas in it. That should take care of your immediate issue but also check the ECU for codes, even if the check engine light is not on, they might still be stored. The initial symptom could be due to a number of items... does your car misfire at idle?

No misfire at idle.

Also, I just took it out for its first drive since winter. When driving (when in motion) the car will come down to an idle fine when I am off the throttle.
Once I start to slow down and eventually come to a stop, it will stall once again, no matter if it is warm or cold.

Aside from that it ran well. The hesitation I noticed is only when it is about to stall. When I go to save it and I open the throttle up, there is a second or so of lag before the rpm`s pop up.

When im driving it is very responsive like always.
