I was wondering if anyone has stereo installation pics of their cars or of someone elses cars (Supras mainly) I'm very interested to see the different types of setups that are out there.

-Headunit: Sony 7850, CD Player, MD Changer Controller/TV Tuner Controller
-Front Speakers: Rockford Fosgate Fanatic Q 6.5" Mid-range, Tweeters and Crossovers, can handle 100wrms each
These speakers are mounted in the stock location. It took a bit of work, but damn, it sounds great!
The tweeters are installed on the kick panels, and they improved imaging 10 fold!
-Rear Speakers: Stock 6.5", used for rear fill.
-Subwoofers: Twin JL Audio 10w0 subwoofers in custom trunk enclosure. I can still store the targa back there!
Amps: (mounted on the back of the rear seat)
-Sony XM-404EQX, 4 channels running at 40wattsRMS.
-Rockford Fosgate 250a2, bridged at 250wrms x 1 to power the JL subs.
-Lightning Audio 1 farad stiffening capacitor, to provide the amps some juice on musical bursts
-Other:
-Phoenix Gold:
battery terminal connector
water proof inline fuse with 60amp fuse
power distribution box, 1 into 2, mounted behind rear seat

Hey Brian.. Just curious?

Where's your boost gauge in this "BPU ++++" car of yours?

Please don't tell me it's on one of those gauge pods that attatch to the "A" pillar

Sorry, it was eating at me.

Nice work on the system.. Did you do all the work yourself?

Hey Tom,

For some reason, I cannot login with my other registered name (briansbackyard.com)...but here's a reply to your questions:

Gauge? Of course! It's right here in my dual 'A' pillar pod:

I did all of the work myself on those lazy weekend days.

Thanks for your comment! I appreciate it!

With that sort of setup, does the car trunk rattle a lot?

Also, how much did it cost for the custom box/enclosure? Looks pretty good. I'd just be scared that someone would look through and see the stuff, and try to steal it.

Deep tinting on the rear windows...it does more than just keep the sun out.
