hey guys, my gas pedal seems to stick still and i would have firmly press it down to loosen it. this usually occurs when i'm stopped at a light for a minute or two, then try to press the gas pedal. is there an area i should lubricate or something?

thanks

You need to clean your thottle plate inside if the thottle body. Get some carb cleaner or brake cleaner and an old toothbroosh and clean it out. The car will smoke when started but that is just the cleaner burning off. They get hung up due to the carbon and what not in the intake(good ole egr) Sometimes either one of the cables get pinched but I would try this 1st, fixes 99% of the problems

Tooth brush and throttle body cleaner.

Use a pair of Vise-Grips to hold the butterfly open, don't spray too much in there.
