Get a new stock one. Don't get an aftermarket BOV unless you need it. My HKS on my stock twins is pretty much only causing me to run extremely rich, not worth the sound. It doesn't sound half as good on twins as it does a single. Just get another stock one.

The 2 large hoses going in/out of the BOV are hard and the stock spring clamps won't secure them to the BOV. Thus causing the large amount of oily blow-by you see. The BOV itself is almost certainly fine.

Order 2 new hoses and use worm-gear clamps instead of the stock ones. Especially at BPU. I did this nearly 6 years ago for my original BOV and it remains clean as a whistle to this day.

Joey, are you running JUST the HKS BOV or are you running it in conjunction with the stock? Have you eliminated the maf?
Only the HKS BOV, i put it in place of the stock one.

I still have the MAF....

please help me fix this i'm getting like 13 mpg and that sucks at $2.30 a gallon :(

I am running both the HKS and the stock bov. Under low boost the stock one lets off and under high boost 10+ the HKS one lets off. It does not run richer than a bpu should. HKS is on a flange on my HKS hardpipes..

Trust me, you won't stop at an intake and exahust ;-)

You wont need an upgraded BOV for the mods you have planned

I am running the SAME set-up. Works great! Joey, you may want to run a similar set-up for your application.

Try explaining how I waste 3/4 of the tank and only did 38 miles!! I drive my car like once every 2 weeks. I had the tank full before Winter. I take it out every now and then. I see that the tank is 1/4 left, and I look at my odometer and it says like 37.8 miles :(

I don't have hardpipes... :( don't wanna spend $300+ for them either... :(

What are my other options? safc-2?
I only run one hardpipe, the turbo to fender one. I have the hks off of that. Bought it off the forums for 45 bucks, hardpipe and mounted SSQV. Keep your eyes out for this stuff Joey. I think your other option is to elim the MAF with a VPC (which would be more expensive than hardpipes) and customize your fuel settings.

P.S. One of you two has to change the avatar! You all can't be rockin the same thing! :)

this is typical...... don't worry about it. Just clean it up and replace the clamps, but don't over tighten them.
