Hey guys ive got a turbo mr2 and im considering doin a supra pump upgrade. but the only concern i have is how much power will it support. i am aiming for 600+ wheel hp . is the supra pump good for it, or should i spend the extra money and get an external pump.?????

Over 500 we go to two pumps. Either two supra pumps or two walbros. Try the search and you should find a lot on the topic. External pumps are usually avoided because they are noisy.

You should be able to get 600hp on a stock MKIV turbo pump. Those things can really pump. Use a relay and "hardwire" the pump with at least 10ga wire to make sure it gets full voltage, as voltage drop through the tiny ass stock wires costs you a LOT of fuel flow.

I intentinally maxed out my fuel pump. 548 rwhp with a t-78 on pump gas. Then I switched to 2 Walbros.

Others results may vary

Ok thanks for the help guys looks like im going to be going with dual walbros? any one know who has the best prices on them?
