i think you can tap into the stock tweeters at the stock amp location. i'm not too positive but the stock amp wiring might have the stock tweeter signals.
Stock tweeter question
I will install my Dynaudio tweeters in my kickpanels shortly (the woofers are already in the door) but am thinking of using the stock tweeters as well in case the the sound is too 'low'.
I would use a small 2-channel amplifier on the rear RCA output of my Alpine so I can adjust the volume of the stock tweeters with my F/R fader. I am not going to use the stock rear speakers anymore.
Where can I best tap into the speaker wiring for the tweeters alone and where are the stock tweeters (and the stock door midranges) filtered, somewhere in-line or at the speakers themselves?
