I have a BPU+ TT car with completly stock fuel and a new fuel filter. Recently, after starting the car, there is a LOUD noticable wine. The wine sounds like a loud external fuel pump. After opening the hood to find the problem, I noticed that the wine is coming from the fuel rail area. Has anyone had this problem before? BTW... after driving the car for a little while, the wine will go away.

I know you said it is coming from your fuel rail, but are you sure? Is it whine noise that I guess I could only relate to a mechanical sounding noise or could it be a one that sounds more like rushing air? Only reason I ask is if you have a leak in your PVC or crankcase hoses, it may sound like a whining noise upon start-up and less as your car heats up.

If not, I apologize.

Brad, thanks for the advise... I will check the PVC valve and hose when I get home. It litterally sounds like there is an external fuel pump on my fuel rail. (shrug).
