i know this is going to sound really dumb. i'm just put my jdm engine back together. my question is, when i put the timing belt on, i set the crank pully to the "0" TIMING MARK, this put the #1 and#6 piston at TDC. (the pistons were at the very top of the engine), i then turned each cam gear so that the cam gear notches lines up with the no.2 timing cover marks. i then put the timing belt on, turn the motor over serveral times to make sure all the notches lined up. did i do this right, i'm pretty sure i did, but i'm confused on if i set thte motor to TDC/COMPRESSION or not. please let me know asap, thanks !!!

You did it right...after two turns, cam marks should like up to timing undercover notches, and crank pulley should be zero.
