Recently my BPU 94TT started to develop a stuttering when I accelerate moderately to hard in low to mid RPMs (2-3.5k). It only ever happens when the engine is cold and it goes away after a few times of accelerating, or the engine getting moderately warm (basically it only happens in the first 5-10 mins of the engine running).
It also seems to be worse and lasts longer the colder the weather is.
Plugs are pretty much new (IK22), and coils were replaced about 20k miles ago.
Any idea what it could be?

Pardon my rudimentary thinking.....air - fuel - spark. So trouble with engine cold: possibly not good "signal" for extra fuel needed until engine temp normal (then otherwise supply ok); possibly an air supply problem but doubt it; plugs/coils should be ok from description. Just trying to get the conversation started. Hopefully someone more informed will chime in.

Thanks, man. :)
Well, right now I have a huge boost leak that I cant find and seems to be internal somewhere, but this stuttering only developed much later.
Compression is fine too, btw.
Gonna get the injectors cleaned soon. Maybe I should also clean the MAF?

if you have boost leak, then cold weather might make that opening move obvious and hence having overly lean or rich condition in your scenario. good luck!
