Man the reminds me of checking my timing with this old-school timing light (the kind with the little spring you put on a coil to the end of a spark plug wire). somehow I pulled the cord too much, and pulled the spring loose. And somehow I touched something I shouldn't -- boy does that baby hurt when you get shocked. Whole arm shakes, and your heart skips a beat or two -- whew

Heh i hear ya man I got one of those same oldschool lights, its all chrome silver definatly from the 70's and I think ive jolted myself about 3 or 4 times by touching the wrench on the CPS bolt to the silly shitty spring thing. After you get used to it, it almost like tickles and feels cool in an odd perverse way.

Last night, when unplugging the plugs one by one for rod knock suspicion, I got shocked too But it was an N/A and it surprised me more than hurting, it felt like a little shock but none of the arm numbness or heart irregularity.
