Hey theres this supra that was owned by an old guy. He ran into the curb and both of his rims were broken. He told me that toyota replaced the diff and some other parts and bought new rims his insurance paid for it and he says it dirves straight. Do you guys think this is okay? I dont want to have to replace everything after i get the car. Do you think it is possible to break the diffs like that?

Thanks

He must have really slapped the curb to break two rims and the defirentials. But if its all done by Toyota and documented then it shouldnt be a problem. Just get a good mechanice to check it out. Any good mechanic can tell right off if somthing else happend. Hope this helps ya

I'd bring the repair order showing the parts/work done to a alignment shop.

Then have them do a 4-wheel alignment to make sure everything is within factory spec's.

A good alignment guy would know is anything is still out of wack from the original repair/accident.
