I’ve searched other forums, and haven’t really found a decent answer.

Performance, motor’s and gear box’s aside I would like to know what is the better handling shell for club level motor sport events. Be it motorkhanas/autocross and track days.

Both cars would be equipped with the same level of suspension work and a full cage. Looking for un biased opinions (silly I know seeing this is a Supra forum) with reasons why one is better then the other, eg: overall dimensions is better on car X compared to car Y ect ect

Thanks in advanced.

performance , motor and gearabox aside?

so you're asking what is the better chasis? and has better aero?

i would say supra,

1) weighs slightly less
2) wider track for wider wheels
3) more aftermarket suspension support.

By "better shell" I was implying chassis, yes. Thanks for you answer. Please keep in mind both cars would be stripped out as well.

so, no carpets, sound deadening rear trim hood lining (the Supra would be a hard top seeing I live in Australia).

Basically just two seats, dash, right and left door cars + cage.

I think the big difference is that the supra has a shorter wheel base and is shorter in general. Less polar moment.

Almost all suspension goodies are the same
