You don't want to mix the 2. If you run bias ply out back you need to run a skinny up front or the car will sway horribly.

I had a similar thing happen but at low speed shifting (A/T) to second. My opinon. With a surge of power the drag tires must be matched to handle the power. It is a limited slip rear end but not all the way. Both tires mst be planted with no slip.If the tires are too slippery that's what happens.
