Okay the guy thats finishing my swap says the car starts fine ,then after ahwile it cuts off could it just be a ground wire or ,maf or something with the fuel because he didnt switch out the fuel pump i have a turbo car 7mgte so he didnt think he would have to switch out the pump and put in the 1jz one ill get more info later on how its sounds while its shutting off

i doubt its the fuel pump. i'm still running an na pump in my swap and haven't had any probs(though i do plan on changing it anyways). my car was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the ecu.

i had that same prob. everytime i'd crank the car, it would only stay on for a sec the die. like its only being fed by the fuel priming. and it turned out to be a wire (fp relay i think) forgot to connect in one the body plug.

Now I need to reconnect all the vaccum lines does anyone know where they all go I prefer pics
