I have run 10.2 @ 139 on a T78. That was with a 1.58 60', my best 60' is a 1.50 but the car only went 135 on that run. No nos yet on the car.
G
what modds do exactly have on your car?how much boost were you running cause that time is my goal. i need some advice on how the t78 is.
thanks mike

Nothing special, T78, 4 row ic, fuel system with 850's (not needed for T78 but don't hurt), 264 intake/272 exhaust cams, VPC, SFC, EVC EZ, and RPS stage three clutch.
G
how much have you invested so far rounding off? and do you have stock gearing
G
Probably around 10k or so in power mods.
G
what rpm do you launch your car at and do you brake boost?
thanks mike
G
Around 7k and no brake boosting. Just my right foot acting as a 2 step :)
G
do you know howmuch power your putting to the wheels? that is also my time goal
G
I bet he is closing to 700rwhp with racing fuel since he has 272 cam,

I'd bet that Angel is at anywhere from 685-670 rwhp (about 810 at the crank). How close am I Angel?
G
Best dyno to date....686, so you are damn close :)

Dumb question here that I haven't seen the answer to anywhere.. Does Greddy offer different exhaust housings for the T78 or are you stuck with the a/r they provide?

Not sure if you can get these in the Supra kit but you can order the T78-33d off the shelf with a 17cm2 or 24cm2 housing. The T88-33d comes with either a 15 or 18cm2 housing, same exhaust wheel so I would imagine that the 15 or 18 could be used with the T78 or the 17/24 on the T88. These housings are available by themselves as well.
