I need some help choosing turbochargers. I gotta 97TT with body kit and BPU kit. I'm looking for a single turbocharger because of the less spool up time. I think that the T88 would do a good job, can anyone give me a ballpark figure about how much HP my TT will put out? If anyone has any other suggestions, I would like to know, I'm running out of options. Thanx.

I'm no expert on this, but from everything I have read around here the T88 will not spool more quickly than the stock twins. Once it does spool, you will have a huge power increase, though. Look back through past threads on the different turbos. There has been a lot of discussion on this subject.

If you are looking at a T88 for less spool up time, forget it. The T88 will add a LOT of lag compared to the stock twins. If you are looking for a single that will spool similar to the stock twins go with an SP57, or the PHR street system. Good luck.

If you want to go with a bigger fuel system, I would go with the powerhouse stage 2 turbo or Sound Performance SP 57 or SP 60.
You can go here for dynos

Have heard great things about both kits and their respective shops. I favor the SP 63 kit. My .02
Who the hell told you that B.S. about the T-88??? Unless you want to build your motor and make over 800+ RWHP(The Turbos potential) and have no power till 5k than go w/ a much smaller turbo.
