Tachometer!!!

To make an enducated guess, we need to be more educated. What kind of tach is this? My first guess would be to tap into the RPM signal at the ECU-- pin number can be found on MKIV.com. As I recall, it's a very easy pin to get to. Tap the wires in, rev the car, and see if it works. Good luck and please let us know more.
