i posted a thread on that a couple days ago under "general" but i dont think anyone heard about that car either. if you end up meeting up with him, could you keep me updated? i'd like to see it also. and if i cant tell whether he had all that internal work done, i'd be more than willing to give him a run. if he doesnt get me by AT LEAST 6 carlengths, then we can all assume that it's BS. I dont doubt that our 2jz-ge's are capable of those numbers. i do indeed have doubts tho, that an NA MKIV with those numbers haven't been exposed yet onto the scene. If indeed those numbers are true, ill give credit where credit is due. (im not trying to be an asshole, just dying to know....):D

This is the n/a I've always wanted to see! Upped compression, increased flow, lighter weight of non-turbo, no lag...... The increased displacement (extra bore? stroke?) may put you in the turbo class:(, but definitely the #'s I want. At this power output the stock rear tranny eyc should hold up too. Now the real proof would be a dyno sheet & cost list to reproduce this.:rolleyes: By the way, is an OBDII 96 eligible for this?:D Could this be the fastest n/a mkiv? The plot thickens.........:rolleyes:

thats what i like to see. but seriously...is it possible. out cars average about 60 RW horses a liter...so you figure...... .2 liters would amount to what..? 12 horses? intake and exhaust combined...add 25-30hp on a good day. so 220+12+30 =262? it doeesnt seem to add up. some one please dyno it. if i can get that power out of a 3.2 liter toyota 2jz-ge, it seems like the best way to go. no turbo lag of the high power turbo's, extreme streetability. you gotta figure 300rwhp NA horsepower should= about 320-350 rwhp turbo hp due to lag.... im loving the concept. now someone go look at and drive that car.

ODD THINGS:
hey guys, dont the 95 have the original bumper style...why's there a bar running through that one? check the car very carefully. either he did a full front light/fascia swap or theres something not right going on here..((Like wreck or something))
FRONT BUMPER: wheres the toyota logo and the front turn signal...? 95 is old light style and the lights look cloudy. i say go drive it then find out exactly what he did, and bring it back to the list. this guy may have hit a goldmine....or hit a brick wall(figuratively) whys he selling such a sweet thing? could he have decreased reliability? just a side thought. not trying to call out the BS flag but someone get out there before anyone bids! :mad: :p
also...TT wheels on it. see what he has to say about that. look it over with a fine tooth comb so we can know if we can all get that power. also find out what it cost him to do that.

well this is just my input...looks promising but has its possible flaws.

Hey guys i just wanted to let you know that when i bought my Supra the guy i bought it from claimed 300 horses on it too and guess what IT WASNT. But at the time i was dumb enough to buy it anyway. Now something i coulda checked then that i didnt and probably is the case here (weird because the guy told me it had upgraded injectors and yada yada) anyway wouldnt the 550 CC injectors be pretty obvious? I mean you cant see the rest of the stuff on the car BUT if there is upgraded injectors you should be able to see that in some way shape or form. SO again if someone is in the area and checks it out see if that part is true as well. Not at all disappointed in my Supra and purchasing it but i wouldnt want someone else to buy it thinking one thing and getting another.

Well, 550's would be overkill.... and yes they will definitely stand out. I'm gonna call BS on this car. :rolleyes:

dont you think if you put all that work into the car you'd have it looking a little better than that...WHOA !!!! those lights look bad...unless he wanted the sleeper look...

i got in contact with the owner and he replied pretty quick. he wants to meet up tomorrow at the Long Beach Town Center at 11am. I didnt reply yet as to whether that time was convenient for me or not. If anyone else wants to go, I can schedule it to whenever is most convenient for whomever it may be. Money..if you want another mini-meet, im down:D . Let me know soon guys. thanks

yeah, Long Beach town center is 10 minutes from me... i've got no job, so my whole day is free :rolleyes: let me know the time.

and to the experienced guys... let me/us know what to pay attention for... like the injectors and such. i'm not too savy with the engine mods. make a list and also how to find the stuff. thanks, all. we'll see what this NA is made of. peace

For the Hell of it, I did a Carfax on this ride. Everything came out clear. So what..... Well is she or ain't she? Let's have at ! I wanna know!:cool:

guys ive seen 2 95's and both have had fogged lights...this one, and one locally...i think the 95's sealant just wasnt as good as the rest. just my 2 cents. pay attention to what year the front fascia and rear tail lights are. and then ask him if he changed them. the front looks like a 97-98, see what he has to say. look it over carefully ask if those are the stock wheels..? the look like 17's to me. ask him a few times..see fi you get the same answer
and try this. offer to dyno the car and strike up a deal. say:
"hey i'd like to get the car dyno'd. how about this. if we take it to the dyno and it puts down around the 300rwhp like you say, ill pay for the dyno, fair and no strings attached. if we take it there and its only putting down around 200..a lightly modded na more likely... then you'll pay. see if he'll bite on that. it will test how eager he is to sell the car, and how sure he is of his hp numbers. pay attention to his eye movements and how sharp his answers are.

Well guys as far as what to look for all you can get em on is those injectors. The 550cc Injectors are significantly larger then stock these are located uner the intake manifold coming up over the engine. Oh yeah and 550s dont just plug into your cars stock fuel system without other mods like a VPC or some sort of controller for them, ask him what he has or if you see anything in the cockpit. And fortunately you guys have Supras as well so compare his injectors to yours if they look bigger then chances are that mod is correct. Other thing is he has an APexi N1 exhaust on his car and with those mods on the car the engine or exhaust sound should be more unusual then what you usually hear. He claims to have dynoed it for 300 horses see if he can locate these. If he does then make sure its his car hehe.
