personally i never heard of 'taking over payments' to work.... r u referring to paying off ur loan with cash or with the seller's bank loan check?

You can take over a lease...but it has to have a transferable lease.

To the seller, you might try www.leasetrader.com if you need other options to get rid of this. Still, I cannot help but wonder how you got yourself into it to start with if you've already realized you cannot afford the payment? You must have just leased it in the past couple months, right? It sucks to have to go through those types of things.
