I'm making good progress on the "race car". I got a template made and lexan glass for the front and sides should be done this week.



Got the interior gutted, will drop it off for rollcage installation tonite.



Got the car running good, went for a short drive with it yesterday.



Here is the ugly side. :p

Yes, built motor is going into this one. I'll keep the stock engine in the red car.

I've had 4 different MKIII's. I currently have the '88 in the pic. :)

All things being equal, the Lexan and Chrome Moly cage alone will be a nice weight decrease over the red's old setup.
