So finally after about 4 months of hard work (stupid canadian winter).... changing everything
the engine is finally in...and started it up today ...

after 1st and 2nd tries failed...3rd finally got it....and 4th ...is the video...pretty much perfect

i guess its nothing special to you guys here...who have amazing supras...badass transplants, but this was the first time, so i learned a lot...

form underneath..brand new exaust from toyota, $1000...got it before i even got the car...and a crapload of rust proofing...

Update...

Bought manual driveshaft + clutch assembly ... 120$ CDN, pretty good price...
put that on today...
all thats left pretty much is to finish up the bleeding of brakes, and a few other minor things....

Story - got this car for free from my friends mom...she hardly took care of the engine...(otherwise car is in pretty mint shape) ill take care of the body stuff after easily...
Its an 89 Supra turbo, targa top...

Engine inside now... 90 Turbo, 7M-GTE... (i didnt want the 1jz)...bout 100,000 KM

I replaced many stuff too on the new engine, brand new clutch, blitz intake, and few other things came with it...

ill let the pictures speak for itself about what was wrong with previous engine..

well we got her rolling...
everythings pretty much fine except that we didnt bleed the brakes properly...
gotta do that tonight...something ended up breaking...

and it seems maybe theres an exaust leak or i something, the engine is smoking a little more than it should IMO...
any ideas?

Blitz turbo intake
springs and shocks, tein and tenabi i think...
HKS Speed limit remover
and some aftermarket blow off valve...not sure what it is ...anybody here know?
