I did a search on the old tranny rattle problem thats common, has anyone tried replacing the spring in the fork actuator cylinder. I think this spring keeps a little pressure on the throw out bearing so it will not bounce off the clutch spring. Its not enough pressure to enguage anything but just enough so the TOB dosent have a space to move around?Anyone ever rebuild or replace the clutch actuator cylinder?

by the "clutch actuator cylinder" do you mean the slave cylinder? i dont believe the clutch rattle comes from the slave cylinder, or the throw out bearing. i doubt there is a spring in the slave cylinder, usually cylinders use a cup seal which returns the rod back into the bore when there is no pressure on it.
