Motor has been running like shit this past weak.
No idea why.

Did a compressor test, 145 across the first 4 cylinders. Then the 5th and 6th were at 30 psi.

So now the car is officially down for the new motor.

Some of the tricks going on inside the motor, are the drilled coolant hole in the head, engine girdle, engine scrapper, and the shimmed oil pump.
I'm also considering getting my main and rod bearings thermal coated as well.

it keeps the oil in the pan, and off the crank when it turns.

Only paid 100 bucks for it, good price as it as teflon on it.

Suppose to be a old muscle car trick.


Also, when i get the engine balanced, is it a good idea to get it done with the crank pulley?
I know the flywheel is a must.

yes, have it balanced with the full rotating asy.! from crank pulley to flywheel

great, i guess i need a spare crank pulley now.
Can't wait to begin.
I'm going to be running a 67q trim dual ball bearing.


Hoping to make at least 600rwhp on 25-26psi.
