Hey, I been searching and saw that some people are running around 170-180 F on their tranny fluid. Is this normal. I finished mine this weekend and my tranny is averaging around 210 degrees on the Highway. Any ideas. I have the deep pan and 2 fan mounted coolers. I am getting my temp reading from an Autometer probe installed in the pan. I'm concerned, so please chime in. Should I be worried about those temps?

Mine is in the pan also.I am going to try the deeper pan.I have 1 fan cooler ,1 not.Mine runs 160-180 in traffic ,cooler on the road 140-160 .Once it heats up it stays hot won`t cool off til i stop a while.Runs 200-210 at the track.
I changed the fluid to Royal Purple ,took the temps down to what i quoted above ,they were higher.
Mine seems ok at these temps we`ll see this summer in Fla.?

I think i might be having to buy one. My whole center console of my car can get pretty damn hot at times if I am driving the car a lot.

Where did you buy your sensors? I am daily driving a 4500rpm pi stall.
