I am installing my afc and when i went to do the throttle position sensor i accidentally messed up and when i tried fixing it i broke the wire and tore it out of the ecu. I crimped it back together and put it back in the ecu but now when i give it gas it stalls. The weird thing is the afc reads it prefectly and instantly unlike the actual throttle that is like a delayed reactino. What is wrong!!?!?

The signal is getting to the afc but not continuing on to the ecu. You are going to have to keep messing with it until it works. You should be getting a check engine light if the ecu isn't getting the signal.

also now when i leave it running it almost sounds lke its knocking but i dont think it is because its not as consistent as a knock, nor near as fast paced. I have no clue maybe the throttle wire isnt hooked to the ecu good enough?
