I just finished putting a new gte motor in my supra and replaced the throwout bearing but its still squealing its really annoying. Does anyone know of a way to fix this without taking out the w58 transmission.

Are you sure it's the T/O bearing and not the crank pulley seperating?

im pretty sure it is. It only squeals when not in gear and if you press in the clutch the noise goes away and you can actually play with the noise with your foot on the clutch.

its literally brand new. when I was dropping the motor back in I made sure I had a new one and it was oiled up pretty well.

LMAO, i have the same problem on my 6spd, but i just learn to live with it...lol...!!
but yea i guess you bought a bad T/O bearing,:dunno: buy another one, and replace it...lube it goood...!!

Sorry did you say you oiled it? Im guessing you ment lubed with hitemp/clutch grease. Had to re pull a hilux box (read tundra for you in the US) due to a "new" toyota faulty bering.
