I have had the worst exhaust leak for a while, and I chased down every and any possible lead.

I found the leak which is out the mouth of the tial 44 where the exhaust gases exit. I bought my tial wastegate from a member, but he did not provide the inlet/oulet flanges.

My question is, is do i just need the inlet flange to seal everything and do I need to use the outlet flange for anything. I know one of those inserts inside the wastegate.

Thanks for any help, it is appreciated.

You need the weld on flange for your manifold (which you probably have) and a valve seat. It is inserted between the manifold flange and wastegate to seal.

Thanks Mike, and there seems to be 2 valve seats and I was wondering if both were needed. I ordered the 'inner' seat today and there is an outer one as well. I just was not sure if both were needed.
