Just did the 60k service (@57k), and I had a few Q's:

How much should a timing and serpentine belt cost to replace including labor? Just curious as to what others are paying from a reputable shop. I just got quoted $65 parts and $420 labor by Toyota.

Out of curiosity-- will I notice any warning signs before it snaps? The TT is non-interferance so it shouldn't do any damage if that happens right?

And btw, I'm going BPU+ soon, so what's a good t-belt for that setup? Thanks.

replaced my timming belt at toyota a year ago and it was $220 including labor. It shouldn't do any damages if the T-belt snap. you should be fine with stock one if you are just BPU+.

I'm going to go with the Power Enterprises timing belt, runs about $120 for one.

Did the front main seal on my car not too long ago, so changing a timing belt is cake now that I know how to do it all.
