The other day both of the timing belt tensioner bolts snapped dropping the tensioner down on the splash shield. I drilled out the old bolts, reinstalled, made sure timing was correct. Now, when the car is started, everything is fine, idles fine, runs good. But... I am getting this whine that almost sounds like a supercharger whine coming from the front of the motor. It did NOT do this until after it dropped the tensioner. Could it maybe be the tensioner pulley inside or could the belt maybe be too tight due to a malfunctioning tensioner? Any ideas???? Thanks

Seems almost impossible for 2 bolts on the timing belt tensioner to snap simulataneously. Did you install a new tensioner, or just replace the bolts? Sounds like something is misaligned.
