ok i changed some sealsa couple weeks ago. the cam seals and crankseal and oil drive seal. my dads friends was givin a hand and he put the timing belt back on. we finished the job. put everything back on. and since then i have been hearing a whining noise coming from under the timing cover. possibly to tight? also would the timing belt being too tight cause to overheat?

theres a spring that holds the tension at the right place but theres a bearing inside the tensioner. did you replace it when you did the belt? the bearing could be bad.

no it doesnt really matter are motors are non interference so you can spin the crank and you wont damage any valves
