It seems like the stuff works pretty well, but after doing research into octane boosters, there's no way that one quart of that stuff can raise your octane more than 1-2 octane. (and that's being generous)
And if you consider that it retails at around $14.99 for a quart and if you compare that to toluene (112 octane) or xylene (116 octane) (which are likely components in the Torco anyway) at retail of $6.60 a gallon or about 1/2 that outside CA, then it just makes sense to make your own octane booster. A little messier, but a lot cheaper and a lot more effective.
Even when we bought large quantities of the Torco we paid ~$5-$6 a quart. If you compare that to buying large quantities of xylene at ~$5 a gallon.
