When I first start my car and put the tranny in drive it slips badly for the first 3-4 seconds and then the tranny works perfect. This only happens when the car sits for several days without being driven. The fluid level is perfect and I have no transmission leaks. The car has a Built auto with a PI 3800 stall and the problem began a few months ago. I hope it's not a big issue but I figured one of the auto Gurus would chime in with their opinion. It feels like the fluid is leaking down from the torque converter because I've seen similar issues on cars when the fluid is too low. I have been checking the fluid while the car has been running at operating temp in neutral. Any advise would be appriciated.

Thank's
