you can get it at auto zone like i did or any other auto supply store. they don't call it torx but something else. just look for the 6 point star pattern and you're good to go. the mod is e z to do.
I have one you can borrow. Heck, you can even install your EGR block plate in my garage! Drop me an Email if you want to borrow mine.1/4mile in style said:Does anyone know where to pick up one of the Torx#7 sockets to do the EGR Block off Plate. I have been to quite a few tool shops and none them have this socket. I am in Los Angeles area also, so if anyone knows where I can pick up this tool locally I would appreciate it.
If not is there any drawbacks to just cutting the holes in the plate just as slots to slide the plate in between?
Thanks in advance!
I could tell you right now that Autozone will not have it. AMHIK. IF they have it, they'll try to sell you a set, not individually. Anywoo, the offer still stands. Let me know.1/4mile in style said:Brian-Thanks for the invite. I might just take you up on that if i cant find it at autozone.
Storm-The lights are the stock 97 lights. My MKIVTT is the limited edition 1997 model. I believe the lights were the same for both the 97 and 98 models.
