Does anyone know where to pick up one of the Torx#7 sockets to do the EGR Block off Plate. I have been to quite a few tool shops and none them have this socket. I am in Los Angeles area also, so if anyone knows where I can pick up this tool locally I would appreciate it.
If not is there any drawbacks to just cutting the holes in the plate just as slots to slide the plate in between?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks T!!!!!!
I got mine at NAPA and they did know what a Torx was when I asked for it.
I got a set from sears but I've seen them in the better auto stores. If you try sears, goto a sears hardware first if you have one.

I have one you can borrow. Heck, you can even install your EGR block plate in my garage! ;) Drop me an Email if you want to borrow mine.

BTW, I'm in Westchester, off Aviation.

. . .are those 98 head lights or did you paint them??? becaus they look niiiiiiiiice. . .i was thinking about painting mine.

Brian-Thanks for the invite. I might just take you up on that if i cant find it at autozone.

Storm-The lights are the stock 97 lights. My MKIVTT is the limited edition 1997 model. I believe the lights were the same for both the 97 and 98 models.

I could tell you right now that Autozone will not have it. AMHIK. :) IF they have it, they'll try to sell you a set, not individually. Anywoo, the offer still stands. Let me know.
